In this Policy, we use the word “Mortgage Professional” to refer to anyone who has subscribed to or paid for use of our Services. We use the word “you” to refer to any other individual user of our Services, such as an employee or a Mortgage Professional’s client (borrower), or an individual browsing or using our Website and web-based resources.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the extent we process personal information in the role of a processor or service provider on behalf of theMortgage Professional. It is that Mortgage Professional’s privacy statement that applies; we conduct such activities strictly in accordance with the Mortgage Professional's instructions and pursuant to our contractual arrangements with the Mortgage professional. If you are an end user or consumer with an existing relationship with one of the Mortgage Professionals , you should refer to the Mortgage Professional’s website to understand their privacy practices and policies.

Third-Party Analytics
Our Website uses third-party analytics and advertising services, including Google Analytics and advertising tools from major platforms, to understand Website traffic and to promote our Services to prospective subscribers. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on, and you can manage interest-based advertising preferences through the opt-out tools provided by individual advertising platforms.
We may use your personal information and other information that we collect to provide the Services, to comply with our contractual obligations, and to support our legitimate interests in maintaining, improving and promoting the Services to prospective subscribers. Sharing with Mortgage Professionals and other Professionals
We make tools that facilitate collaboration between various users and organizations.
For Finmo, in Canada:

Sharing with Rocket and Other Integration Partners
Jupiter is part of the Rocket Family of Companies (“Rocket”) and integrates with Rocket Pro and other third-party platforms to enable Mortgage Professionals to submit loan applications through the Services. As part of these relationships, we share information about Mortgage Professionals, including account information, business affiliation, licensing details, and information about how Mortgage Professionals use the Services, with Rocket and our integration partners, such as credit vendors. This information is used to onboard Mortgage Professionals, support the integrated workflow, provide account management and partner support, develop and improve the Services, and offer Mortgage Professionals relevant products, programs, and resources from Rocket and its affiliates.
We do not share borrower information for these purposes. Borrower information collected through a Mortgage Professional's loan files is only shared with a lender at the point the Mortgage Professional submits that specific application to that lender.
Sharing with Third Parties
We share your personal information with third party service providers who perform functionality within the Website and Services on our behalf, such as customer service, technical support, hosting, data storage and processing, credit reporting, identity verification, e-signature, document collection, property valuation, conducting audits, and research and analytics. We also share your information with third party service providers who provide products and services that we use to operate our business, such as payment processing, email services, job applications and alerts, employee management, and customer surveys. We separately use marketing service providers to send product communications such as onboarding emails, product updates, and educational content to Mortgage Professionals subscribed to the Services.
If we provide your information to service providers for our provision of the Services, then we require that service providers maintain the confidentiality of your personal information and keep your personal information secure. We also require that they only use your personal information for the limited purposes for which it is provided. When our service providers no longer need your personal information for those limited purposes, we require that they dispose of the personal information. In some circumstances, we may permit our service providers to retain anonymized or statistical information that does not identify you. We do not authorize the service providers to disclose your personal information to unauthorized parties or to use your personal information for their direct marketing purposes. We will endeavour to respond to your opt-out request promptly, but we ask that you please allow us a reasonable time to process your request. Except to the extent allowed by applicable law, no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We will maintain your personal information for as long as they are needed, or as required by applicable laws, regulations, or government orders. After the relevant amount of time has passed, we will delete your information. Please note that Mortgage Professionals are able to add, update, or delete certain information within the Services at their own discretion. Some Client Data may be retained by Lendesk to fulfill contractual obligations to the Mortgage Professionals, or as otherwise required by law.
Client Data is currently stored on AWS in the Canada region. We may transfer your personal information outside of Canada to fulfil the purpose for which we collected it, including for processing and storage by service providers. For example, Intercom stores Mortgage Professional names and emails for customer support in the United States. While your personal information is outside of Canada, it is subject to the laws of the country in which it is located, which may have different data protection laws than Canada. Those laws may require disclosure of your personal information to authorities in that country. Client Data is currently stored on AWS in the United States East 2 region. We may transfer your personal information outside of the United States to fulfil the purpose for which we collected it, including for processing and storage by service providers.While your personal information is outside of United States, it is subject to the laws of the country in which it is located, which may have different data protection laws than the United States. Those laws may require disclosure of your personal information to authorities in that country. We have implemented commercially reasonable physical, organizational, contractual and technological security measures with a view to protecting your personal information from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss or theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. We have taken steps to ensure that the only personnel who are granted access to your personal information are those with a business ‘need-to-know’ or whose duties reasonably require such information.
Despite the measures outlined above, no method of information transmission or information storage is 100% secure or error-free, so we unfortunately cannot guarantee absolute security. Where applicable, you may be entitled to additional rights, including: (i) the right to withdraw consent to processing; (ii) the right to object to unlawful data processing, under certain conditions; (iii) the right to erasure of personal information about you, under certain conditions; (iv) the right to demand that we restrict processing of your personal information, under certain conditions, if you believe we have exceeded the legitimate basis for processing, processing is no longer necessary, or believe your personal information is inaccurate; (v) the right to data portability of personal information concerning you that you provided us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, under certain conditions; (vi) the right to object to decisions being taken by automated means which produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you, under certain conditions.
Please note that such rights are not absolute. There are instances where applicable law or regulatory requirements allow or require us to refuse to provide some or all of the personal data that we hold about you. When you exercise your right to deletion of your personal information, we will delete your personal information, subject to some instances where your personal information will be maintained for us to fulfill our obligations under contract to Mortgage Professionals. This information includes historical posts and content contained within Client Data.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection or privacy authority, such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
We may require that you provide sufficient identification to fulfill your request to access or correct your personal information. Any such identifying information will be used only for this purpose. We will not charge you any fees to access your personal information in our records without first providing you with an estimate of the approximate fees, if any.

This privacy policy applies only to our products and services. This privacy policy does not extend to any websites or products or services provided by third parties. We do not assume responsibility for the privacy practices of such third parties, and we encourage you to review all third-party privacy policies prior to using third party websites or products or services.
